E’ Romelu Lukaku l’espressa richiesta di Antonio Conte per l’attacco dell’Inter: Mauro Icardi non farà infatti parte del progetto tecnico del nuovo allenatore e il belga è il nome proposto dall’ex ct per rimpiazzare Maurito. Negli scorsi giorni il club nerazzurro avrebbe presentato la prima offerta al Manchester United per il belga: il cartellino di Ivan Perisic e un indennizzo economico. Ma Daily Mail riporta che la proposta è stata immediatamente rispedita al mittente. Secondo il tabloid, infatti, Lukaku lascerebbe l’Inghilterra in un solo caso: il Manchester United ha infatti intenzione di recuperare i 75 milioni di sterline spesi per prelevarlo dall’Everton nell’estate del 2017. Difficile dunque che il club nerazzurro avanzi un’offerta superiore a 80 milioni di euro per prelevare il centravanti.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear Marcus Rashford will be his first-choice centre-forward next season, with Lukaku aware of his plans.
But the Belgium international has not been told he is surplus to requirements and United are not actively looking to sell him during this window.
Still, a fee in the region of £80m is believed to be their asking price if they are to let the striker go.
Antonio Conte’s appointment at Inter Milan was expected to provide Lukaku with an Old Trafford escape route, but the Italians are understood to be baulking at United’s valuation.
Conte was desperate to take him to Chelsea two years ago when the 26-year-old joined United from Everton in a £75m deal. That figure could rise to £90m based on add-ons.
Solskjaer’s preferred forward line next season is expected to be a front three of Rashford, Anthony Martial and a right-sided attacker the Norwegian plans to bring in this summer.
A deal for Daniel James from Swansea is on the verge of being sealed, but it remains to be seen how much first-team football the Wales winger will be given from the start.
It still leaves the futures of Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez in doubt.
Lukaku is a far more saleable asset – and a record of 42 goals in two seasons at United means he still has numerous suitors, in addition to Conte. It is also just a year on from his outstanding performances for Belgium in the World Cup when he established himself as one of the most effective strikers in the tournament.
Even if United failed to get their full asking price for Lukaku, it is likely they would be able to make back the vast majority of their outlay two years ago.
But it could be a different story next season if Lukaku is reduced to a bit part role.
The player, himself, has expressed a desire to play in Italy and the chance to link up with Conte, who he now shares the same agent with, at Inter would appear to be the ideal scenario.
The Italian giants consider Lukaku to be a more realistic target than Sanchez, due to the Chilean’s wages of around £450,000-a-week.
But United’s valuation remains a major obstacle to any deal being concluded.

Il tecnico interista, intervistato dalla Bbc, ha fatto il punto sul mercato, aprendo una porta anche a un colloquio con Mauro Icardi: “Il futuro di Icardi? Valuteremo tutte le situazioni e prenderemo le migliori decisioni per il club”.
Conte, insomma, non esclude nulla. Prima di tutto vuole confrontarsi con il giocatore e con la società e prendere una decisione concordata con tutte le parti in gioco. La linea vale più o meno per tutto, se è vero come è vero che “dobbiamo lavorare duramente per prendere le migliori decisioni, la squadra è la cosa più importante per il presente e per il futuro. Non ho avuto nessun contatto con Icardi, ho appena iniziato a respirare l’aria nerazzurra e ora devo entrare con le mani e coi piedi in questa nuova sfida”.
Non solo Maurito, però, perché in questi giorni si è parlato molto anche di possibili arrivi: “Lukaku? Non c’è stato nessun incontro, dovete parlarne col direttore sportivo così come per Sanchez. Abbiamo un piano, dobbiamo migliorare la squadra e saranno importanti i giocatori, ma altrettanto importante è il progetto e l’ambizione per ridurre il gap”.

Conte coveted Lukaku, 26, two years ago when he was Chelsea manager but sources close to the Belgian striker have told the MEN his agent at the time, Mino Raiola, scuppered a deal and Lukaku became Raiola’s fourth client to join United in successive summers. Lukaku changed agents this season.
Chelsea ended up buying Alvaro Morata – United’s back-up option – but the Spaniard struggled in the Premier League and was loaned to Atletico Madrid midway through this season. The MEN previously reported Inter appeal to Lukaku amid the possibility the club would appoint Conte, though they have not qualified for the Champions League yet.
United paid Everton £75 million rising up to £90m for Lukaku two years ago and he could cost Inter a similar fee, despite scoring only 15 club goals in his second United campaign. Lukaku is contracted to United until 2022 and the club has the option of an additional year.
Inter are expected to embark on an extravagant spending spree in an attempt to end Juventus’s domestic dominance and Lukaku would effectively replace their irascible number nine Mauro Icardi. Ironically, Lukaku could link up with Ivan Perisic, the winger former Inter coach Jose Mourinho wanted to supplement Lukaku with at United two years ago.
After the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on April 28, Lukaku said: “I don’t know [if I am staying], I am not here to entertain rumours. I am still under contract.”
Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello said last month: “He sees a way to have a career playing in different countries because he would like to win some trophies and prove himself and say to his children: ‘I won there and I won there and I won there’ and ‘I was a very good player in all the top championships’.
“So let’s see. The future is really very open but, at the moment, we don’t discuss about that because really the season is in a big moment.”

L’Inter ci prova sul serio per Alexis Sanchez. La trattativa non si preannuncia affatto facile per i costi elevati dell’operazione, ma i nerazzurri nelle scorseore hanno fatto un tentativo formale per provare a imbastire una trattativa con il Manchester United per regalare ad Antonio Conte un attaccante di livello internazionale.
A riportarlo è Adam Crafton, autorevole giornalista del Daily Mail, che ha lanciato la notizia sul proprio profilo Twitter. Secondo Crafton, per far sì che la trattativa vada in porto il Manchester United dovrebbe essere disposto a dar via gratis il cartellino del giocatore, che da parte sua dovrebbe ridursi considerevolmente l’ingaggio attualmente astronomico che percepisce con il club inglese. Insomma, come si diceva, la trattativa non è affatto facile. Ma non è da considerarsi impossibile, dato che lo United potrebbe anche prendere in considerazione questa ipotesi pur di liberarsi dell’oneroso stipendio del giocatore. Cederlo in prestito, infatti, potrebbe voler dire pagare comunque la metà del suo ingaggio, un aspetto che non converrebbe ai Red Devils. Ecco perché l’Inter ci spera: Alexis Sanchez è possibile.

OFFERTO – Come raccontato da Tuttosport e Gazzetta dello Sport, infatti, nei giorni scorsi il procuratore di Sanchez (ma anche di altri talenti cileni fra cui Arturo Vidal) ha incontrato in prima persona a Milano il ds dell’Inter Piero Ausilio e l’ad Beppe Marotta per proporre ai nerazzurri l’acquisto dell’attaccante in rottura aperta con il Manchester United.
PROBLEMA INGAGGIO – Un affare percorribile dal punto di vista del cartellino, dato che i Red Devils vorrebbero liberarsi di lui, ma per cui rimane una fortissima problematica. L’ingaggio percepito da Sanchez in Inghilterra è superiore ai 10 milioni di euro annui. Una cifra almeno doppia rispetto al massimo che l’Inter può o meglio vuole offrire. Le alternative non mancano ma, con Conte che lo ritiene un profilo gradito e con l’addio di Perisic, Sanchez potrebbe clamorosamente rappresentare un colpo di grande valore. La trattativa continua.

Stando al noto quotidiano inglese il giocatore potrebbe avere anche già una destinazione preferita e si tratterebbe della Juventus. L’Inter sarebbe alla finestra per l’attaccante che potrebbe essere un obiettivo in caso partisse Icardi. Di recente lui non si è voluto sbilanciare sul suo futuro e ha detto: «Non sono qui per parlare delle chiacchiere, ho ancora un contratto», ma secondo i giornali inglesi non è certo di quale sarà il suo futuro. Il club ha fissato il prezzo in 75 mln di sterline, qualcosa più qualcosa meno di 85 mln.
